As a parent of four children I know how difficult it is to decide on a secondary school that will provide the right environment for them. We want to get the best possible academic qualifications, but to do so in the most positive, nurturing environment that will enable them to continue learning throughout their lifetime.
At Harris School, young people are educated in a calm, happy and orderly climate which is conducive to learning. We are proud of our high academic standards for all, which we are achieving through high quality teaching and learning, excellent opportunities for student participation and leadership, and a wide range of enrichment activities. The distinctive Christian ethos of our school plays a role in nurturing the moral and personal growth of our students, enabling them to model good citizenship.
We are a specialist Sports College and use our sports Specialism to drive up standards across the curriculum as well as to encourage students to make positive and informed decisions about their health and active lifestyles.
